A Girl in Puducherry

Trips with friends are a big no-no in our family and Solo trips are just a myth! Wherever we go, we go in a bunch of 5 people… me, my parents, and my younger siblings. Two people from the lost generation, two teenage kids, and me, a 20-something trying to fit in. Recently I've been trying to figure out a way to have a trip without my family. One day this perfect opportunity knocked on my door. One of my cousins planned an "only cousins" trip to Pondicherry! At first, my father was not a fan of the idea but my mother and I found a way around it. And finally, I was all set for Pondicherry! Pondicherry is known as the White Town of India. It is one of the most colourful places I've ever seen. To reach Pondicherry we travelled via train (Chalukya express). I boarded the train at Miraj junction. Scuba Diving Day 2: The ocean, the girl and the dive

After the emotional and dramatic pool session, I felt back on my game when I woke up on July 20th, 2021. If you haven't read my previous blog about this pool session, check it out  here  before you read any further. The venue for my actual dive was the 'Temple Reef'. Temple Reef is an artificial reef where the divers opting for Discover Scuba Diving are taken for diving by Temple Adventures. On the day of my actual dive, I reached the Temple Adventures office at 7 AM, got suited up in my scuba suit, and left for the location from where our boat was going to leave for Temple Reef. A very nice couple who was going to dive with me gave me a lift in their car. (I didn't forget their names by God's grace... Their names were Praveen and Preeti... I guess😀) A truck with all required equipment had already reached and the crew was unloading it from the truck and loading it in the boat. Scuba Diving Day 1: The pool, the girl, and the existential crisis

Source: Temple Adventures, Pondicherry  Am I a girl who likes adventures? Hell yeah! My father always encourages me and my siblings to enjoy adventurous sports, so Scuba diving in Pondicherry was a big yes! Fear of water wasn't a problem because I've been swimming and doing water sports since I was a kid. In my mind, I was all set and ready for my Discover Scuba Diving course with Temple Adventures, Pondicherry.  Temple Adventures, Pondicherry is one of the best diving centers across India. Along with that it is also PADI 5* Instructor Development Centre. (PADI stands for Professional Association of Diving Instructors... Of course, I googled it!)  Temple Adventures provide a wide range of courses in diving like PADI Discover Scuba Diving, PADI Open Water Diving, PADI Wreck Diver Course, and many more. If you are interested you can check their website:  templeadventures.com I had never done scuba diving before so I obviously opted for the Discover Scuba Diving course....
